I started dating this girl about a month and a half ago. I met her at this health food store. I was in there looking to get something for this friend of mine who is really into holistic medicine. At any rate I was on the phone with him and I told him where I was. He asked me to duck in this place and buy a bottle of something called coq10 or something like that. Of course I was a bit put off by it, but I was right there and it was not that big of a deal. At any rate I went in there and I immediately saw this girl. She was looking at me and of course that got my attention, aside from the fact that she was quite easy to look at. I mean a guy would have had no trouble staring at this girl for hours and hours. There was a loot of scenic beauty right there. Continue reading I Got a New Girlfriend This Month
We were hand packing boxes of product when we first put together our limited production line. Most of the individual product packaging was also done by hand. We bought some bag fillers that use the continuous rolls of film to package our food product, and a few months later we added case packers by JLS Automation to put the individual bags into shipping boxes that go out to the retail stores. The boxes are then stacked on pallets, wrapped in clear plastic film and put on trucks.
I remember when we first made our product not all that long ago. We used to scoop it into individual boxes and sell a day’s worth of product every day. Continue reading Growth Relied on the Changeover to Automation in Our Packaging
You have probably seen packaging machines on that TV show that demonstrates how things are made. I don’t think they ever highlighted the packaging machines, but you see them all the time when they are showing how products are made. One super fast and widely used packaging device is the VFFS packaging machine. You start with a roll of film, and it ends with it being turned into bags to hold products. The contents can be anything from your breakfast cereal to pretty much anything else that is sold in bags or bags that get shoved into boxes.
Think of a roll of plastic wrap. It is just one long roll of plastic. Now think of it not being clingy but made of the same stuff your potato chip bag is made of. Now imagine unrolling a couple of feet of that. Take the end of it and begin to form it into a tube as you continually roll it off the roll. Now heat seal that tube as you continually roll it out a little at a time. Continue reading How a VFFS Packaging Machine Works
A really bad fire broke out in my garage last month. The fire was started by some old rags that were in the garage. While doing some work in the garage, a spark flew onto the rags and they started burning. I rushed to the kitchen to get he fire extinguisher from underneath the sink and ran back to the garage to put out the fire. By the time I got back to the garage, the fire was out of control and I had to call the fire department. I needed garage door repair service because the garage had become so burnt.
The fire department was able to put out the fire before it was able to spread to the rest of the house. Continue reading Rebuilding the Garage After the Fire
I have just decided to get a head start on my Christmas shopping and the thing I am doing first is to figure out who is on the list and how much I should spend on everyone. The family as a whole is going to probably get a big screen TV for the living room. So I have been checking out the 2015 cyber Monday TV deals to see what the basic cost of what I am seeking is going to be. There are all sorts of things you can get on a new TV obviously. I am not sure which thing is the best for the family. The 3D sets seem like something of a gimmick for example and there does not seem to be a whole lot of things that you can watch in 3D, or at least not too much which I would be that interested in seeing. Most of it seems to be animated kid’s movies and that sort of thing. Some of them might be worth the effort, but I figure that you need a real good reason to wear those glasses. After working out on and off over the past year or so, I was feeling next to no motivation. I was seeing a difference on the weight scale and my clothes were getting much more loose. I even found myself needing to go to the store to buy new things that fit me better. But I was getting bored. I needed more. After stumbling across a Fitbit Surge review one night, I was surprised to see that I suddenly felt great interest and curiosity again. It is tracks your fitness data like no other tracker does, so I bought one.
Over the years, I had seen other trackers in stores. They were all so very expensive, though. They only held limited interest for me because it is best that I do not spend much time learning about a product that I will never be able to afford. But this particular tracker is budget friendly for what it keeps track of for you. It really does make working out much simpler.
You can sync it up to your smartphone which is important because it allows you to see your stats in real time on your phone and keep track of it an app. I used to have to map out the distance and the routes that I take for my weekly runs, but once I got one of these fantastic gadgets, it does all the work for me. It even tells me how far I have traveled in seconds or minutes.
It used to be that while I was on a run, I would try to mentally tally up how many calories I had burned. I did this to help keep myself interested, but then that was not easy to do and I would quickly give up doing it soon after. But this tracker handles it for me, and it keeps me going.
I am a bit of a fitness nut. I have tried all kinds of workout programs, like Insanity and others designed to push a person to their limits. Sometimes they are hard, but I am always able to master them pretty fast. That is why I needed a challenge, because I was growing bored with my workout regime. A guy at my gym heard me telling a friend this, and he suggested that I look at the Navy Seal workout program online. He had found himself in a similar situation, and he told me that this program is the first one that nearly kicked his butt.
I could tell that he was not just spouting words. He was in great shape, so I knew that if something could do that to him, I wanted to try it too. Continue reading I Needed a New Fitness Challenge
American cable television aficionados have long suffered the heavy yoke of the cable industries inflexible packaging of channels. For years consumers have railed against this design and have requested more flexible options rather than paying for content that they rarely, if at all, access. It’s a ridiculous position that they have placed American consumers in leaving them with no choice but to turn to streaming services. I did it myself after growing tired of Dish in Syracuse; cable was the other alternative, of course, assuming I wanted to pay out more money than I felt comfortable with. I was tired of the bill.
Who doesn’t grow tired of paying the same bill every single month? Nothing changes when you pay it. Continue reading The Streaming Signal Can’t Be Stopped
If you sell CDs of your music and make a profit of a few dollars on each one, how many do you need to sell to support the lifestyle you want to live? If you play at a local gig and sell tickets, how many people need to attend so that you can earn enough to pay your mortgage, car payment and college for your kids? I think that SoundCloud marketing offers a way to get noticed by the masses who have a tremendous amount of buying power.
Let’s say you burn your own CDs and sell them and make five bucks profit on each one. It takes selling a thousand of them to make five grand. If you sell a million copies of your music online and only make a dollar for each one as a profit, you have earned a cool million dollars! You want to reach the most amount of people even if you are selling at a lower profit level. Continue reading Setting Prices when You Are Doing SoundCloud Marketing
I am pretty annoyed right now, because I am having some issues with our home loan and I want to get the home refinanced by someone else, so that I can stop having to deal with the company that currently owns our loan. I want to hire real estate appraisal in Sacramento to appraise the house for us, and hopefully it will appraise for more money than it did the last time it was appraised. We have made a lot of improvements to the house since the last time, and I think that they should serve to add a good bit of money to the value of the house. At least, I really hope that will be the case.
Anyway, I am going to try to figure out who to hire to get the house appraised. Continue reading Real Estate Appraisal Near Sacramento
Our business is growing and so we are going to need to change the way that we do some things in order to accommodate that growth. One of the things we need to do is to outsource our bookkeeping, because it is not going to work well to continue doing it in-house. That much is pretty clear to me, and so I would like to see what we can do about that. I want to check out live balance services and see what it is going to cost to have our bookkeeping done through them. I also want to see if they can do something with our bank accounts as well, and allowing them to be managed easily over the internet.
I am excited about the changes at the company, but at the same time, it is kind of stressful adjusting to all of the changes. Continue reading Outsourcing Bookkeeping for Small Business
I am a struggling musician. I know that chances are I will always have to keep my day job, but that does not mean I have given up the dream of making it big. I am just realistic about it. I have a lot of different things I like to put out there, and I figured that the best way to do this would be on social media. I decided to use Instagram because that is the one social media platform it seems everyone uses. I wanted to know if I could buy Instagram followers with PayPal since I don’t have any credit cards, and I knew that I would need this boost if I was going to have a decent following.
